Working With Government and Private Businesses
Custom Application Software Implementation
We conducted impact analysis, created design solution, generated code, conducted unit tests and delivered for implementation the approved software programs via the established change request process. Developed new components and functionalities and corrected existing application software code according to approved change requests, and prepared builds for implementation;
Participated in discussions with Team lead and Management staff for corrective fixes and enhancement changes to the custom application software, providing both oral and written analysis. Detailed analysis results including the design solution, unit test plan, system test plan, implementation plan, and an estimated level of effort required to perform the work must be presented in the change requests.
Policy Suite Reset Project
Policy Suite project is public tool about search or browse the entire collection of Treasury Board approved policies and related instruments for organizations across the Government of Canada. Our role was to redevelop the intranet Policy Suit Management Database app that is used to manage the public Policy Suite web site according the current government policy and guidelines.
Mobile Project TC-DTS (Dispatch and Tracking System)
Policy Suite project is public tool about search or browse the entire collection of Treasury Board approved policies and related instruments for organizations across the Government of Canada. We redeveloped the intranet Policy Suit Management Database app that is used to manage the public Policy Suite web site according the current government policy and guidelines. Mobilization initiative of Safety and Security for moving from paper inspection and safety procedures to mobile applications. Initiative of Aviation and Aircraft Safety. Proof of concept (R&D) for mobilizing and integrating part of centralized enterprise system as pilot for Business System Transformations team. The pilot will be used as a sample for future mobile initiatives in Transport Canada.
TC-DTS (Dispatch and Tracking System) Project
We Provided system dependency analysis for decommissioning and redevelopment of the existing portfolio of applications. Marine portfolio of applications comprises about 20+ integrated applications on Microsoft and Oracle platforms. The applications included external and internal web and desktop apps for ships registration, inspection, management, monitoring, planning and another activity for the Canadian marine transportation.
(CCS University of Ottawa) - Modified and expanded the Academic Promotions web based system that we have originally built for the Faculty of Medicine into a University Web System which will be deployed in all Faculties. The system description is below with Med Tech Project.
Some of Tasks Performed:
Designed, developed and maintained app computer systems deployed nationally or internationally, and having more than 500 named users with more than half the users working on the system concurrently.
Programmed custom web based UI, Business and Data layers as coded functionalities as: client side processing using Java Script and Ajax for client input validation, global CSS styled approach on the UI so the common look can be easily changed.
Faculties Portal Project
Automate and integrate the process of administration for courses preparation before offered to students in all University Faculties. The web based application is used for analysis and estimations of human resources as professors, students, available rooms, budget, historical demand trough out the past years. The Solution will replace the existing manual process of using Excel Spreadsheets to create a plan for courses proposal used using multiple disconnected legacy systems.
Some of Tasks Performed:
Participated in architecture and development n-tier applications using SDLC, .NET framework, WCF, with an Oracle database. Implemented MVC architectural and software design pattern. Transformed business requirements into system and technical requirements and specifications.
Participated in the entire development lifecycle using a recognized standard as UML, SDLC methodology such as Macroscope and case tool Visual Paradigm.
Coded and maintained web applications to comply with the government web application standards and guidelines and WCAG 2.0.
